BEA WILCOX, age 87, a resident of Irving, Texas since 1950, died Friday, February 24, 2012, at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born November 24, 1924 in Decatur, Texas, she was the daughter of Henry and Matilda Carter. She married Royce Wilcox in Beaumont February 16, 1943. She and her husband opened and operated B and R Rentals in Irving from 1959 until 1983. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Royce Wilcox; a daughter Carol Darlene Stone of Canton; a son Rolan R. Wilcox of New Mexico; 2 grandsons; 4 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson; a brother Horace Carter of Goldthwaite; and a sister Velma Carter of Beaumont. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving until the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
