Bea "Meemaw" Humphreys, 87, a long-time resident of Irving, died Monday, July 5, 2021 in Lewisville. She was born July 9, 1933 in Palmer, Texas, the daughter of the late Orles Alton Pitts and Bertie Jewel Thomas Pitts. She moved to Irving as a child. She married Gene Allen Humphreys, Sr. who preceded her in death. She worked for Mary Kay Cosmetics before her retirement. She was Baptist. Survivors include a daughter Janet Hawkins; two sons, Leslie Andrews and Gene Allen Humphreys, Jr. both of Irving; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a great-great grandson. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd. under the direction of Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. SERVICES Graveside Service
