It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barry L Holcombe, age 74, of Grand Prairie, Texas. He passed away on Sunday, April 5th, at his residence in Grand Prairie. Barry was born on December 31, 1951, in Asheville, NC. He was the son of Horace Proffit and Myrtle Combs Holcombe.

Barry was loved by his friends, neighbors and his work mates at Sabre Industries.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Mark Sayles.

Barry leaves a son, Christopher Sayles and four grandchildren, Melanie Sayles, Megan Sayles, Zachary Sayles and Tiffany Sayles to cherish his memory.

Memorial services will be 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Grace Pointe Church, 208 S. Story Road, Irving, TX 75060. Services are under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving.
