Barbara Smith passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Irving, Texas. She was born December 15, 1948 to the late Jose Ada and Conception (Torres) Manglona in Agana, Guam. She married the love of her life, Ron Smith on May 8, 1971 in Guam and moved to North Texas after Ron's military tour. She worked as a lead night custodian for the Irving ISD for more than 30 years before her retirement. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Michelle Smith; brother Anthony Manglona and sister Elizabeth Manglona. She is survived by her husband Ron Smith of Irving; daughter Mary Jones and husband Sean of Arlington; sons: Steven Smith and wife Deborah of Corinth and Christopher Smith and wife Bonnie of Denton; six grandchildren: Shawna, Kaitlyn, Tiffany, Destiny, Zaine and Jayden; siblings: Joseph Manglona, Michael Manglona, Annie Braungart, Delores Manglona, James Manglona, Agnes Blas and David Manglona. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 31, from 6-8 p.m. at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1st in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jack Kimberlin officiating. SERVICES
