Barbara May Campbell Perkins, 83, a resident of Irving since May 1962, died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at her daughters home in Mabank, Texas. Born June 23, 1937 in Barstow, California, she was the daughter of the late Frank Harold Campbell and Pauline Adeline Carr Campbell. She married Russell Nolen Perkins May 27, 1978 in Irving. A homemaker and mother for many years, she later worked for the Polaroid Corporation before retiring. She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Russ Perkins in 2003 and her son Gene Arthur Peters, II, she is survived by a daughter Cathy Lynn Wisdom and husband Ed of Mabank; five grandchildren, Christi Ann Jones, Carrie Beth Buck, Brian Edward Wisdom, Shannon Michelle Peters, and Stephanie Peters Kirby; nine great grandchildren, Rachel Jones, Sarah Jones, Tayshaun Jones, Leah Buck, Ty Buck, Rhett Buck, Jack Kirby, Blake Kirby, and Christian McGraw; a niece Barbara Lineaweaver; and nephew, James Campbell. The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 South Story Road in Irving. The funeral will follow at 10:00 a.m. There will be a private burial service at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
