Barbara Kay Bell, 79, a resident of Irving, Texas, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at a local care center. Born April 15, 1939 in Lamesa, Texas, she was the daughter of the late J. R. Eastham and Mary Kathleen Sandel Eastham. She was a retired bookkeeper and was Baptist. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bobby Eastham, husbands, James Arlen Godwin and Bob Gillentine and by a granddaughter, Chavaun Buchanan, she is survived by three daughters, Zenda L. Buchanan and husband Roger of Grand Prairie, Kimberly Z. Allen and husband Wayne of Grand Prairie, and Gala Hartwick and husband David of Alexander, Arkansas; two sisters, Beverly Dunlap and husband Wendell of Plainview, TX, and Mary Riney and husband Tom of Burleson, TX; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Noon on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Fairway Garden of Memories in Van, Texas.
