Ayrus James "A. J." Simpson, 23, died Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home in Irving. Born in Torrance, California on December 1, 1996 to Robert Alvin Simpson and Sheila Denay Wimberley. A.J. was a security officer. He is survived by his mother, Sheila D. Wimberley of Irving; a sister, Quiana Wimberley of Dallas; a brother, Dimittri Simpson of Irving; his grandmother, Shirley Wimberley of South Carolina; a brother-in-law, Oscar Guzman of Dallas; and a niece, Sayuri Guzman of Dallas. A Memorial Service for A.J. will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062.
