AURA LILA CENTENO, age 80, a resident of Irving since 1985, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Born September 11, 1935 in Managua, Nicaragua, she was the daughter of Carlos A. Centeno and Rosa E. Herrera. Aura was a member of Saint Lukes Catholic Church in Irving where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a Eucharistic Minister. Survivors include her sons, Denis Rocha and wife Nancy of Irving, Julio Rocha and wife Susan of Houston, Rene Rocha and wife Mayling of Nicaragua and Mario Rocha of Houston; daughter, Ivonne Lopez of Irving; eleven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sisters, Carlota Centeno and Urania Centeno and by her brother, Alberto Centeno. Viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 17 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Saint Lukes Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Bezzegato as celebrant.
