Audenia "Bennie" Valdez who had a sweet and gentle spirit came to this earth on July 9, 1943 to the late Pablo Mireles and Victoria Hernandez Mireles. Her journey here on earth ended to begin her eternal life with our Lord the evening of Friday November 16, 2018. She was a loving, supportive, and God-fearing wife and mom to five of her own surviving children: sons Victor Valdez and Jose Ruben Valdez from Oklahoma, Benjamin Valdez from Irving, Texas and two daughters Raquel Valdez and Marta Valdez from Irving, Texas with many other chosen children. She was an amazing Memaw to four grandchildren: Johnathan Valdez, Ariana Zavala, Nicolas Valdez, and Leonard Herring. She was also Memaw to many she took in as her own. She married her late husband Joe Valdez on November 11, 1962 in Brownfield, Texas. She is survived by four sisters Margarita (Mage) Mireles and Amalia Mireles from Hereford, Texas; Enedina (Nina) Gonzalez from Amarillo, Texas; Ida Medrano from Brady, Texas and two brothers Helberto (Hel) Mireles from San Antonio, Texas; Pabol (Heto) Mireles II from Amarillo, Texas. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by two baby girls Elisa Valdez; Baby Valdez, and two brothers Raymond (Mon) Mireles and Jose (Coche) Mireles. Although her calm spirit will be greatly missed, we rejoice knowing she is now complete, resting peacefully, and not only rejoicing with our Lord, but reunited with many loved ones. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church, 1750 East Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. Henry Rocanio will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. SERVICES
