ARTHUR FRANK BUDDY OSTERMAYER went home to be with his Lord Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was born August 20, 1940 in Galveston, Texas to Arthur F. and Edna E. Ostermayer. Buddy had a long and varied career in sales and advertising, first at the Galveston News Tribune and later the Beaumont Enterprise and Journal. He was the first advertising manager for Conns Appliance in Beaumont, TX and he retired after 26 years with General Electric Company, Dallas, Texas. He was a devoted and loving father who always made time to play catch after a long day at work. His quick wit and irreverent sense of humor shaped his children and endeared him to many. He was preceded in death by his daughter Amber and his sister Teresa Burgess and is survived by his wife Nancy; son Eric Michael; daughter-in-law, Leona Ann; and granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth. Private inurnment will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Angels Residential Facility, 10450 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport, LA 71106
