APRIL TROTTER, age 49, a resident of Irving, exchanged this life for her eternal life in heaven with Jesus on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Born July 10, 1965 in Irving, she was the daughter of Jere and Martha Ward. April was preceded in death by her daughter Boston Michelle. Survivors include her husband, James Trotter Sr., and sons James Trotter III and Aaron Trotter; her parents Jere and Martha Ward; her brother Jere Ward Jr; her sisters Marla Longoria, Melonia Long, and Alicia Woods; her nieces and nephews Mark Spicer, Sharayah Romero, David Ward, Sarah Ward, William Long, Austin Long, Christopher Long, Julia Long, Rachel Woods, Joshua Woods, and Ryan Woods; great nephew Nolan Spicer; her aunts Sue Burkes, Bonnie Harrington, Betty Thomas, Rosa Rushing, Sondra Houston, and Janice Collvins; her uncles Billy Walters and Jim Ward. A Memorial Service will be held at Life Touch Baptist Church, 402 W. Rochelle in Irving at 10:30am, Saturday, January 24. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00pm, Saturday, January 24 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving.
