ANNIE RUBY CARROLL, age 80, a resident of Irving since 1963, died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at home. Born October 30, 1931 in Kaplan, Louisiana to Joseph and Marie Picard Campbell. She was a dedicated volunteer at Heritage Senior Center in Irving since 1996. Preceded in death by her son, David Carroll in 2011, she is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ferrell and husband J.G. of Arlington; son, Marcus Carroll; grandchildren, Margaret Coleman and husband Chris, and Austin Carroll; sisters, Verna Cotton of Oklahoma and Rose Campbell of Louisiana; brother, Joseph Campbell, Jr. of Arizona. Memorial service is 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
