Anne Prejean, of Irving, Texas, died on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the age of 101. Born April 27, 1915 in Hammonton, New Jersey, she was a retired nurse. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward Joseph Prejean Jr. in 2009, Anne is survived by her son Edward Joseph Prejean III and wife Linda of Irving; sisters, Gloria Cappucio and Edith Donio, both of Hammonton, New Jersey. Anne served as a 1st Lt. in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. She was of the Catholic faith. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, September 16th at St. Anns Catholic Church, 180 Samuel Blvd, Coppell, Texas. Burial took place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on September 19, 2016.
