ANNA MAE BALL RYON, age 98, a resident of Irving, Texas, for 18 years, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Van Alstyne. Anna was born on October 19, 1911, to George Ball and Ethel Hopper Ball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ryon; son, Robert Ryon; daughter, Nancy Batot; grandson, Pat Ryon and great granddaughter, Hannah Cosper and is survived by one son George Ryon and wife Ginette of Irving; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and John Cosper of McKinney; son-in-law, Mike Batot of Irving; a sister, Sally Taylor and husband Gordon of Denison; grandchildren, Linda, Sandra, Michelle, Jeff, Kelley and Coy; fourteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Family to receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Beltline Road Church of Christ, 1202 N. Beltline Rd., where she was a longtime member. Burial 3 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, TX. Mr. Don Hatch and Mr. Dan Flournoy will officiate.
