Anna Lou Carpenter Nelson age 70, died at her home in Arlington, Texas on Friday, January 26, 2018. Anna was born in Dallas, Texas on June 6, 1947, the daughter of Edna and Robert Carpenter. She graduated from Irving High School. Anna was a member of the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Anna worked for the Caterpillar Tractor distribution center in Dallas for 36 years. Preceded in death by her parents and a sister Nancy Dill, she is survived by sons, Darren Nelson and wife Regina of Garland and Larry Nelson and wife Cindy of Midlothian; grandsons Phillip Nelson and Dallas Nelson; and nieces Amy Smith and April Jackson. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. SERVICES
