Ann Marie Nelson, 76, of Irving, Texas died Tuesday, April 8, 2021 at Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center of Irving. Born June 22, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to the late Herbert G. Schukar and LaVerne Brown Schukar. Ann was a retired emergency room nurse at Parkland Hospital and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Irving. She had received a Bachelor Degree from Texas Women's University. Preceded in death by her husband Marion Nelson, she is survived by a brother, Howard Schukar and wife Florence; and niece Catherine Parker of Carrollton, Texas. A private graveside service was held Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062.
