ANN JANE BOWLES, age 86, a resident of Irving for over sixty years, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 in Plano. Born in Swan, Texas, she was the daughter of Frank Montgomery Powell and Lula Mitchell Powell. She married Tommy Bowles in 1945 in Dallas. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Irving where she served on the Altar Guild. Preceded in death by her husband Tommy and a son Alan Yeager Bowles, she is survived by a daughter Rebecca Ann Watson of Martinez, California; sons, Tim Mitchell Bowles of McKinney and Kevin Montgomery Bowles of Plano; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 516 South OConnor Road.
