Alma Jo Fortune, age 81, a resident of Duncanville, Texas for 30 years, passed away March 9, 2010 at a care center in Duncanville. Alma was born July 31, 1928 in Pilot Point, Texas to Albert Calvin Pollard and Eva Mae Ewton Pollard. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters, she is survived by her daughter, Sheri Clayton and husband James of Dallas; son, Charles D. Fortune and wife Jan of Keller; grandchildren, Jamie Vaughan, Jason Clayton, Brad Fortune and Jenna Fortune; great grandchildren, Makayla Lynn Vaughan, Landon Vaughan, Madison Fortune and Grace Fortune. Alma is also survived by her sister, Betty Stone. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., Friday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home with a Graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
