Allen Autry Lewis, age 85, also known as "LuLu" "A.A.", or "Smokey" Lewis, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at a local care center. Born August 8, 1937 in Hopkins County near Sulphur Springs, he was the son of the late Cecil Clyde Lewis and Lassie Estelle Speaks Lewis. He married Priscilla Christiansen June 12, 1959 in Irving. He served in the Strategic Army Corps and was stationed in Germany and later worked in the electrical supply business before retiring. Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Eva Smallwood, and a son Mark Allen Lewis in March 2022, he is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Priscilla of Irving; a son Chris Lewis and wife Bridget of Bertram, Texas; and a granddaughter Kayla Lewis. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
