ALICE MARIE RIFFE, age 94, a resident of Irving since 1965, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Born February 26, 1919 in Rogenville, Texas, she was the daughter of Arthur and Mamie Stegall Price. She was a retired cashier for Lucky Lady Oil Company, enjoyed senior citizen organizations, the Elks Lodge and playing Bingo. She was a member of Bible Way Chapel in Irving. Preceded in death by her husband J. B. Riffe and a grandson, Clestel Riffe, Jr., she is survived by her children, Clestel Riffe and wife Glenda of Livingston, Charlotte Rodriguez and husband Ruben of Garland, Linda Stacks and husband George of Irving, and David Riffe of Irving; sisters, Laura Vaughn, and Marguerite Jones; brother, Joe Price; twelve grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
