Albert Thomas"Tom" Uhr, 84, a long-time resident and public school teacher and coach in Irving, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Uhr on August 25, 2020. He formed and performed with the Shady Grove Ramblers. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Irving Masonic Lodge 1218. He is survived by a daughter Laura Valletutti and husband Peter Joseph of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren, Lauren Marietti and husband David of Estoria New York and Katherine Valletuti of Fort Worth. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, memorial services have been delayed and will be announced later. A more complete obituary will appear here later.
