Abdus Sattar, 61, passed away on October 3, 2020. He was a beloved husband, uncle, brother, and friend to many. Originally from Bangladesh, he moved to the United States in 1982. He was an educator and a writer for 23 years. He taught education at DeVry University. He married the love of his life in 1986, Brenda Hudson-Sattar. The two were inseparable and had an ideal marriage and were very devoted to each other. He is preceded in death by his parents, Moulana Moklesur Rahman and Shofia Katan Rahman, and his brothers, Gofer, Shahjahan, and Raju. He is survived by his beloved and faithful wife, Brenda Hudson-Sattar, his brother Jahangagir, and several nieces and nephews: J.D., Chrystal, Nicholas, Brittany, Candyss, Harrison, Peyton, Azad, Sahim, Janneth, and Fia, as well as several great-nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Danielle, Marcus, and Emery. The family will receive guests on October 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home at 606 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, followed by a committal service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at 1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060 SERVICES
